What's New at Lost But Not Forgotten? (BLOG, updated 16 December 09
What a great year the Lord has given us at LBNF!!
After the last trip to Togo, planting four new churches among unreached
muslims, that brings the total number of church plants among muslim
villages in the northern part of West Africa to six and the number of
muslims embracing Jesus as Lord to about five hundred. Over 1,500
children have received care.
We have built two churches, and are receiving money from you our
donors to drill a water well in Zigage, Cameroon. We are just lacking
$6,500 to drill the well. It would be good if we could begin drilling before
the dry season coming soon.
Continual outreaches from our partners we have facilitated in the area
has resulted in hundreds more born-again among muslims. Our senior
and junior evangelists continue to be actively harvesting for the Kingdom
of God.
Next month they will proceed across N. Nigeria and cross the border into
Niger to find worthy villages for us to minister among the Manga, Kanuri
people, an unreached people group recognized by the Joshua Project.
A physician will accompany me to lead medical outreaches to the sick
children we encounter in the villages. We will also continue to pray
directly for the sick and see them made well by the Lord.
On my latest trip, a side-trip to Nicaragua with Deep Water Ministries,
the Lord opened the ears and loosened the tongue of a deaf-mute eight
year old. Another woman with pain and unforgiveness received healing
once she released her anger. God is working and we appreciate Him and
You.
Recently we have had the opportunity to do the following:
 | | Plant four churches among muslim villages in N. Togo.
|
 | | Conduct two crusades among muslims in N. Nigeria.
|
 | | Visit two major unreached tribes in West Africa according to the Joshua Project.
|
 | | Travel to Cameroon and plant the first publicly accepted Christian church among |
| | the Kanuri. Sow seeds of the Word in three other villages.
|
 | | Lay hands on the sick and see them made well (dozens of miracle healings).
|
 | | Conduct two crusades bringing many Kanuri into relationship with Jesus.
|
 | | Return to Gances, welcomed by the balama and preach to many. Including two secret |
| | believers. Do follow-up work in this village.
|
 | | Collect or receive pledges for 50% of the money needed for the well in Zigage. |

Overview of Lost But Not Forgotten
This organization is committed to reaching out to people in the 10/40 window, particularly
in Africa, who are highly ranked on the Joshua Project list (see link).
A Little About What We Do
We recognize that what we do best is to reach out to small villages with the good news of the
Savior and to provide some temporary humanitarian aid in hard to reach areas. Although,
little is deemed beyond the scope of the ministry if the Lord leads us, the efforts are focused
on evangelism and church planting. Drilling, and building are things we hope to do where
possible.
"For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

The Found People Christian Church of Zigage
It is children like this one (left), our LBNF
poster-girl, who keep us coming back and
pressing forward to take the gospel of Jesus to
the unreached people of the Northern Corridor of
West Africa. What I call the Lost But Not
Forgotten. Why should these children suffer
unnecessarily?
With your help we can bring them clean water,
build schools and churches, and most
importantly, bring them Jesus.
Why are some of the faces blacked out, and
aliases used on this website?
Unfortunately in this day and age, there is
more opposition to the gospel of Jesus then at
any other time in our existence. If you doubt
this then I suggest you read Voice of the
Martyrs (VOM). As ministers of the gospel in
volatile, restricted, and dangerous areas we
make security a priority, especially with our
local partners. Ministering to muslims is
illegal in some of the areas we venture into,
yet we choose to obey God rather than man,
and so do our partners. So it may look weird,
you may think it is unnecessary, but our
experience and that of colleagues suggests
otherwise. Thank you for your understanding.
Everyone should have access to clean
water. You can help.
